Williams Pharmacy

Company Names, addresses, dates: 1
Williams Pharmacy, Church cor 18th Huntersville, Norfolk VA (1913-1914)
Williams Pharmacy, 1757 Church, Norfolk VA (1915-1916)

Notes:
Arza Gage Williams Sr. (1883-1964)2 was the proprietor of the Williams Pharmacy.1

The Williams Pharmacy doesn't show up in the 1912 city directory, but there was a newspaper mention in December of that year, saying that Williams' was filing a petition for bankruptcy of his drug store on Church Street in Huntersville.3
I don't know what became of that filing, but the store continued on until about 1916. 1

Williams is listed in the 1917 city directory as the secretary-treasurer of the Home Remedy drug company, and in later years he's listed as a physician. 1

I could find no evidence that Arza Gage Williams was related to John Newton Williams of the Williams & Tynes drug company.
