Notes:
James Hunter Hume (1881-1947)2 started as a stenographer and druggist at the Eastern State Hospital in Williamsburg VA. He later worked at drug stores in South Hill and Norfolk, before starting the J H Hume Drug Co in Richmond in 1919. In 1929, he came to Cartersville and took over the Dickinson Drug Company.1
