People's Pharmacy

Company Names, addresses, dates:
  People's Pharmacy, 1544 W. Main Street, Waynesboro VA (ca.1959-ca.1996) 1,2

Notes:
This was an independent pharmacy, not connected with the chain drugstore called Peoples.3

I don't know when the store started and ended, but the earliest newspaper mention I could find was from 19591, and the latest one was from 19962.

William Cephas "Bill" Combs (1924-2011)4 was the owner of the pharmacy from 1960-1994. He got his pharmacy degree from MVC in 1954. 5
