This is a receipt from 1899, signed by Jno. E. Jackson. The header says: RESCRIPTS A SPECIALTY     PURITY AND ACCURACY / Tazewell, Va. Dec 8 1899 / Mr. A.P. Gillespi / TO JNO. E. JACKSON, DR. / DEALER IN / PURE DRUGS AND MEDICINES / Stationery, Fancy Goods, Toilet Articles, Perfumery, Paints, Oils Varnish, Etc.

This is a receipt from 1903, signed by Jno. E. Jackson. The header says: header: RESCRIPTS A SPECIALTY     PURITY AND ACCURACY / Tazewell, Va. Jan 1 1899 / Mr. A.P. Gillespi / TO JNO. E. JACKSON, DR. / DEALER IN / PURE DRUGS AND MEDICINES / Stationery, Fancy Goods, Toilet Articles, / Perfumery, Paints, Oils Varnish, Etc. It appears that the items being purchased were for a school, as there are lots of books, such as "Beginners Latin" for $1.10, and "1 set Stoddards Lectures" for $38).
