Walter's Drug Store

Company Names, addresses, dates:
  Walter's Drug Store, 20 E. Beverly Street, Staunton VA (c.1929-1934+) 1

Notes:
Jerome Morrison Walter (1880-1940)2 was listed in the 1900 Census as a 19-year old drugstore clerk, living in Petersburg VA. The 1910 census showed he had moved in with his parents in Staunton, listed as a druggist. He apparently did well as a druggist because by 1929 he owned his own drug store.
I don't have access to any Staunton city directories past 1934, so I don't know how long his drug store lasted, but I suspect it lasted until he died in 1940.
