Company Names, addresses, dates: 1
Humphries & Webber, 108 Campbell Ave SE, Roanoke VA (1910-1960)
Humphries & Webber, 20 Campbell Ave SE, Roanoke VA (1920-1930)

Notes:
J. Clyde Humphries and Joseph H. Webber (1873-1953)2 started the Humphries & Webber drug store in 1910. It was described as the "prettiest drug store in Roanoke", with a "large sanitary soda fountain of the 1910 type"3.

In the 10 years previous to the store opening, Humphries had been in charge of the prescription and buying department of the Polk Miller Drug Co in Richmond. Weber's previous work was at the Massie's Pharmacy in Roanoke, followed by managing the Briggs Drug Company in Richmond.3

Humphries seems to have dropped out about 1938 and Webber became the president of the company, but the name of the store didn't change. 1

Joseph Webber started clerking at drugstores at the age of 15, and he graduated (left early?) from the University College of Medicine in Richmond in 1897. He passed away in 1953.4
In 1954, the business was put up for sale5, but according to city directories, it continued on under the name "Humphries & Webber" until at least 1960.
