nelson_03 This is a 14"x8.5" receipt, although it's folded in half so only the top half was photographed. It's the monthly bill for the William Byrd Hospital for August 1908, which came out to $64.36, although that included a balance of $38.58 at the start of the month. It says:

nelson_04 This receipt is from 1907. It says:

letterhead: Bills Presented Monthly NELSON'S NEW PHARMACY TELEPHONE 561 / Corner Fourth and Leight Streets / Richmond, VA., Oct 1 1907 In Account With W.H. NELSON GRADUATE IN PHARMACY
It shows all the purchases for the month of September. It doesn't say who the purchaser was, but it may have been a doctor or hospital, based on the amount of medicine & Gauze that was purchased. For instance, on Sept 9, they purchased 100 yds Gauze, 2 pounds Green soap, and 1 pound of C.Acid.
