Notes:
Edward R. Hunter (c.1821-1884)2 ran a drugstore in Portsmouth, VA. The dates listed above are based on my limited set of available Portsmouth City directories1, so they don't show all the years his drugstore was in operation.
The 1860 US Census listed his occupation as a "Tutor", and the 1872 City directory listed him as a drugstore owner, so he apparently became a druggist between 1860 and 1872.
