Notes:
Dr. John Williams Robertson (1887-1981)2 was a Doctor in Onancock VA
for nearly 70 years. He graduated from the University of Maryland Medical School, and
returned to Onancock in 1910, joining his father's medical practice. He brought the
first X-ray machine to Virginia's Eastern Shore and installed it in his office.1
He was also an accomplished photographer, and he published 3 books of pictures and history
of the Eastern Shore. 1
