Norton Pharmacy

Company Names, addresses, dates
Norton Pharmacy, Park Avenue, Norton, VA (1911-ca.2010) 1,2

Notes:
In May of 1911, the Whitehead Drug Company in Norton VA changed hands, and became the Norton Pharmacy. The store was purchased by R. M. Garret, C.M. Fisher and Dr. W.P. Hall. The latter had been with the Whitehead Drug Company as the pharmacist, and became the manager of the new concern. 1

In 1916, the Norton Pharmacy became incorporated, with R.P. Carr as the president and F.C. Lowry as the secretary. 3

I don't know when the store finally closed. The latest newspaper mention of the pharmacy that I could find was from 2010, and it indicated the store was located at 460 Park Avenue NW, Norton VA. 2
