Notes:
Frederick Dennis Nelligar (1874-1941)5 became a registered pharmacist in 1895.6

As early as 1897, he was working for the Young's Pharmacy at 400 Church Street. By 1909, he had taken over the Young's Pharmacy, and renamed it "Nelligar's Pharmacy". 1

In 1917, he opened a second store, called the Redgate Pharmacy, as it was located on Redgate Avenue. By 1919 he had abandoned his old store, which was taken over by the York Drug Company, and later the Hassel-Wray Drug Company.1

In 1924, the Redgate pharmacy was taken over by A.Y. Masters3.
In 1929 the store burned down.4
