Hostetter's Drug Store

Company Names, addresses, dates:
Hostetter's Drug Store, 103 South Main Street, Harrisonburg VA

Notes:
The earliest reference I could find to this store was a newspaper article from 1936. It said that P. E. Hostetter was opening a new branch of "Hostetter's Cut Rate Store" in Lexington VA. The article also said that the home office was in Harrisonburg. 1

In the 1940 US Census, Jack Bradford (1915-1999)2 was listed as a clerk at the Hostetter's drug store in Harrisonburg.
The obituary for Bradford's wife said that Jack was the propreitor of Hostetter's drug store, so it seems that he took over of the store at some point. 3

The last reference I could find to Hostetter's drug store was in 1968, so it seems that the store lasted until on or after that year.4
