Bell Drug Co.

Company Names, addresses, dates: 1,2,3,4

Wm. P. Bell & Co., Accomac VA (1899-ca.1927)
Bell Drug Co., Accomac VA (ca.1938-ca.1940)

Notes:
William Parramore Bell (1860-1935)5 owned a drugstore in Accomac VA (formerly called Drummontown VA). He started with a business partner, and the drug store was called "Blackstone & Bell". In 1899, Mr Blackstone left to start a banking business, and Bell continued the store under the name "Wm. P. Blackstone & Co.".1,2

At some point the name changed to "Bell Drug Company", which is the name printed on the bottle below. The last mention I found was from 19404, which was after William's death, so the company apparently continued on without him, at least for a while.
