C&O Canal Plates

Notes:
This page has plates (and ashtrays) related to the C&O Canal.

plate_03 This is a 9" diameter metal plate with a date of 1904 on it. I don't know if that was the date it was produced but if it was, then this is probably my oldest C&O Canal plate.
plate_01 This 3.5" by 5.5" plate appears to be made of aluminum. It is commemorating the 100 year aniversary of the canal in 1923, although I don't know if it was actually produced that year.
plate_04 This is a 10" diameter white ceramic plate with green printing. On the back it says Kettlesprings Kiln, Alliance Ohio.
plate_02 This might actually be an ash tray, as it has indentations that look like they would hold cigarettes. It is white ceramic with black printing. On the back it says it was produced by the Myers Card & Gift Shoppe, Williamsport MD, 1974.
