Victory Bottling Works

Company Names, addresses, dates1:
Victory Bottling Works, Southeast corner of Sutton & Chain Bridge Roads, Vienna VA (c1924-c1947)

Notes:
An April 30, 1926 article in the Fairfax Herald said that the Victory Bottling Works was just incorporated with W.T. Buser president, H.W.Gunnell vice president, and R.C.Yost secretary and treasurer. It went on to say that they manufactured, bottled and sold soft drinks, and that the company had been established about 2 years earlier.
Apparently the sold beer as well after prohibition was lifted. An August 23, 1935 article in the Fairfax Herald said that Hugh Gunnel was continuing the business after his partner W.T. Buser died six weeks earlier, and that they bottled Heurich beer, ale and porter.
An ad in a 1947 phonebook listed Victory Bottling Works as a distributor of Budweiser and Senate Beer, as well as Virginia Dare & Dixie Wine.
