Florence A. Sullivan, 1016 1st St. NE, Washington DC (1903-1917)
Notes:
I've got bottles from 4 different Sullivans.
I suspect these Sullivans are all related, but I don't know how.
Florence A. Sullivan is listed as a saloon owner from 1903-1917.
John J. Sullivan owned that same saloon up to 1902, so my first guess was that
Florence was John's wife, and took over the business. That was a bad guess.
Apparently Florence (b. 1873 in Ireland) was a man, as he's listed that way in
the census. Maybe he was John J.'s son, brother or cousin.
David S. Sullivan is listed as a bottler from 1896-1898.
Jeremiah Sullivan is listed as a saloon owner from 1892-1896.
Note that the Jeremiah Sullivan bottle says "W Washington DC",
not "NW" or "SW", but just plain "W".
