Bergner & Engel

Company Names, addresses, dates1:
Bergner & Engel Brewing Co, Md ave c 9th NW (1881-1887)
Bergner & Engel Brewing Co, Va av c 6th SW (1888-1900)

Notes:
Brewery was based in Philadelphia. They apparently had a Washington DC branch. An ad in the February 2 1881 Washington Post listed H.L. Dauterich as their agent. It also listed 3 other DC bottlers who bottled Bergner and Engel's beer: Chr. Dickson, John Nass and William Zanner.
